Holiday Show!

"That's Not Easy!"
(Wayne and Charlie)

Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Andrew and I just stayed home and enjoyed an enormous meal together, and took a long walk with Charlie-Dawg. One of the best holidays I can recall in a long while. Quiet, relaxing & full of Love.

This is of course how our Thanksgiving day ended

I feel bad for not doing more to promote the I Made It! Market's Holiday Show. Forgive me! Our main computer has ceased to work for the time, and doing anything that requires a lot of power is difficult on my tiny 12" laptop.

Anyways, beyond my whining... Tomorrow is the Holiday Show in Bakery Square! NightSquid is extremely eager to get there and meet the crowd! I have been busy working on new innovations for my bottle cap art. I have started using new, sturdy pin clasps and making bottle cap magnets!
I'm stoked to see what you think of them!

Times:
Friday 5PM-10PM
Saturday 11AM-6PM

Here are a few pieces I will have available at the show

November's First Friday

Pittsburgh has a wonderful First Friday Gallery Crawl along Penn Ave in Garfield.
I was lucky to have lived so close to it for a few years, yet I don't think I took advantage of it enough. Now that I'm all the way in the suburbs of southern pgh, I dearly miss my eastend.
HOWEVER, on November 4th NightSquid will be part of a show at the Cotton Factory, while representing the Craft-O-Tron. I will be there with two other wonderful crafty ladies, exhibiting our work. Show starts at 6pm and goes till 10pm. Come check out NightSquid and support your local crafters!!

Even found the time to work on my Dumbo Octo.

Portrait of my dog's best friend, Maxx. I tried to capture the hungry look in his eyes. The owners will soon be having their 40th wedding anniversary, and this will be their gift: Maxx forever asking "where's my treat?"

I've been working on gaining some new skills and idea's. Here, I've never tried embroidery, and this is only the most basic stitch work. There's a plan to buy a book and learn, but for now, it's enjoyable just to make it up.
