Squiiiiiids!

Commissioned piece for Diana and Ian.

So then, life has been all around crazy lately. Trying to juggle all my responsibilities at work, the things my household deserve me to do, and my need to continue to staying actively creative. All of which require a lot of energy and focus. Get's a girl down and tried sometimes. This is where 101 degree weather does not help any one of my causes to staying mobile. The one room in my house with the air conditioner, also happens to have my bed. Two things that equal maximum comfort, and therefore I would rather be napping instead of washing dishes.

Hot weather also triggers much complaining.

Finished a good friends drawing this afternoon. Great excuse to stay indoors, and not take Charlie on a walk. He likes to think he could survive comfortably in this weather. Bah! What do 11mo. old pups know? Speaking of which, tomorrow Charlie will be officially 11 months old. Happy Birthday Charles!

I was asked to answer a few questions concerning my views on the link between craft and community. This will take much forethought. But I'm very excited to be apart of this research.
